Joe's Sport Center began in 1951 as a part of Lake Ready Mix, Inc., a concrete construction company. In 1964, the Polaris line of snowmobiles was added to the business. Lake Region native, Joe C. Kraft, bought into the business in 1968, and remains active in the company.
In 1985, the sports business split off from Lake Ready Mix, and Joe's Sport Center was born! Both Joe's Sport Center and Lake Ready Mix have common ownership and share the same location.
Cletus J. Kraft, Joe's son, joined the company full-time in 1987, upon graduation from college. Cletus manages day-to-day operations at Joe's Sport Center.
Joe's Sport Center is a dealer for Polaris snowmobiles, ATVs, and Ranger utility vehicles. We also handle Bear Track aluminum trailers, Boon Dockers Liquid Nitrous Systems, HJC helmets, and Castle and FXR Racing clothing.
